The Shootist — excerpts from the Cowboy poem

I thought I’d give you a little taste of what’s in the book.  This is an excerpt from one of my favorite Old West Cowboy poems I titled “The Shootist”.  I’d love to hear what you think of it.   Of course,  it’s a “teaser” for now,  but I do intend to add one or two full poems from the book at some point.   It’s in format with borders — just as it appears in the book.
